The tank is a NUVO 10 gallon
This is a very low tech, low maintenance tank
Lid is a sheet of glass I cut at Home Depot, ATO is a gravity fed 1 L Coca-Cola bottle and light is a 5 years old cheap Nicrew 50w (no longer exists on the market).
60% Water change once per 3 month, and I don’t test this tank.

That’s very cool. How do you cue them into breeding conditions? Definitely be following this!
I don’t think they need anything specific. Based on what I see, they just need stable parameters and “good” nutrients (I feed them vitalis algae pellets, but I think any sinking food will be ok).
Also they kind of like clownfish, the bigger one will mature into a female.
The larger the female, the more egges it will carry.
Decapsulate brine shrimp eggs
When the sexy shrimp hatch, they need constant freshly hatched bbs. Decapsulating brine shrimp eggs will reduce brine shrimp hatching time to as little as 18 h. So when the baby sexy shrimp comes out, they will have fresh bbs to eat immediately and it is crucial for the survival of the sexy shrimp zoea.
Decapsulate brine shrimp eggs
It is very simple to encapsulate and store the brine shrimp eggs.

You need bleach, fresh water, brine shrimp eggs, and a fine mesh net.

Hydrate the egg by soak them in fresh water for 1-2 h.

I added 30 mL of bleach to 60 mL of fresh water.

Keep the mixture on ice and stir.

The egg will turn white and then turn orange. It gonna takes about 3 min.

When you see the majority of the eggs become bright orange (90%), stop the reaction by rinsing them in the net with fresh water until you no longer smell bleach.

You can store them in 300 ppt salt water in the fridge. (I think is saturated salt water)

Sexy shrimp eggs hatch in around 18 days. The female starts carrying eggs around 8/8, it is almost there! Fingers crossed I can harvest the baby shrimp in time!
