Account suspension and banning

If your ReefnBid account is not working the way you expect, it may have been suspended or banned. Here is what each one means, what you can still do, and how to get back to normal.

Suspension

A suspension is a temporary block that ReefnBid staff place on your account, usually while an issue is being sorted out. You stay signed in, and you will see a notice on the site letting you know your account is suspended.

While you are suspended, you cannot:

  1. Place bids. Any auctions you were currently winning are released to other buyers.
  2. Check out or complete a purchase.
  3. Message sellers.

You can still:

  1. Sign in and browse.
  2. Take part in an open dispute and work with a seller, or with ReefnBid, toward a resolution.

A suspension does not lift on its own. ReefnBid staff remove it once the underlying issue is resolved. If you are not sure why your account is suspended, ask in the ReefnBid Academy or tag the ReefnBid AI Assistant (@ReefnBid-AI).

Banning

A ban is a full block. You will not be able to sign in at all, and the site will not load for you. A ban removes all access, including the ability to take part in disputes.

Your account and history are not deleted, so ReefnBid can still review what happened, but you cannot use ReefnBid while a ban is in place. Bans are reserved for serious or repeated problems.

Why it happens

Accounts are suspended or banned for things like breaking the Terms and Conditions or the Code of Conduct, fraud, or misuse of the payment system. A common example is filing a bank chargeback without first trying to resolve the problem through ReefnBid. See Chargeback policy.

How to get reinstated

Both are set and lifted only by ReefnBid staff. If you think it was a mistake, or once you have fixed the issue behind it, ask in the ReefnBid Academy or tag the ReefnBid AI Assistant (@ReefnBid-AI) with your account details. If your suspension is tied to an open order or dispute, resolving that is usually the fastest way back, and you can keep working a dispute even while suspended. See Dispute management.
