Sniping protection for sellers

As a seller, you can turn on Sniping Protection to stop buyers from winning with a last second bid.

How it works

If a bid is placed in the final minute, the auction extends by another 15 seconds. This keeps repeating as long as bids keep coming in the final minute, so everyone has a fair chance to respond.

How to turn it on

  1. Go to Settings, then Auction.
  2. Switch Sniping Protection to Enabled.
  3. Click Save Changes.
